EFX Ethernet Fabric Switches
The Woven Systems™ EFX Ethernet Fabric Switches are based on Woven's vSCALE™ technology which provides multi-path traffic routing and Woven's Dynamic Congestion Avoidance feature that moves data flows around congestion in real-time while maintaining full Ethernet compliance.
The EFX Ethernet Fabric Switches deliver unsurpassed performance, scalability and manageability using familiar, standards-compliant Ethernet without requiring specialized expertise, re-building existing applications, or complex re-routing and re-configuration. With an architecture purpose-built for the data center, the EFX family provides the highest number of non-blocking 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) at 1/3 the rack space and 1/5 the power consumption of traditional data center switching solutions.
Legacy switches require large upfront capital investments or expensive upgrades requiring data center budgets to grow ahead of the businesses they support. Woven's multi-chassis Ethernet fabric departs from this legacy model by enabling its customers to grow their data center network cores in small steps of 12 wirespeed 10 GE ports at a time - an invest-as-you-grow model. Each small step expands a data center network core or fabric that delivers wirespeed 10 GE with ultra-low latency and no congestion.
